I am looking for people to ride with Monday and/or Friday mornings. Jet is returning to conditioning and I would love to have partners to ride with. Mostly walk, some trot but not quite ready for canter....yet.

Good morning Karen, We vary the places we go...lately for convenience, it's been Cane Creek and the red trail so we can stay in the shade. We arrive about 9:30 and ride out as close to 10 as possible. Back to the trailers by noon. Does that work for you?

I would be up to meeting to ride with you all sometime. Let me know when and time. I have not been to cane creek at all this year mostly riding at morrow mtn.

It could work for me if I get a babysitter.  My horse is in stanfield which is near locust.  I am riding this tuesday June 30 at Uwharrie National forest if you guys want to join me and a friend.  give me a call(704)577-2338

uwarrie is shady so that should not be a problem.

Hi Beth, It would be great to have you join us. Julie and I are meeting in the morning (June 27) for breakfast and then to the Ag Center to check out the tack sale. I should know more then what our ride schedule will be for next week. Still, we aim for Wednesday and you are welcome to join us.

july 25 trail ride at uwharrie National forest

I am trying to put together  a  trail ride that leaves from 4bfarms that enters Uwharrie national forest.

The cost to ride and join would be $8 for the first time and then only $2. each time after that.  It is a nice facility with stalls that can be rented to keep your horse for the day and has camping and a bathhouse.

I have ridden there twice lately and had a great time.  The trails are shady and one runs along the river which is the one I like to take.  Trails are fun to manuever but you need a horse that will cross ditches.  It is a great place to get your horse a good work-out due to the small hills and creek crossings.

Plan for an all day outing.
